Sinopse: O destino se encarregou de unir três criaturas que ninguém pensaria que poderiam viver sob o mesmo teto: um vampiro, um lobisomem e uma fantasma. Com passados e características diferentes, o que une esses três improváveis amigos é a vontade de viver como humanos , uma espécie da qual eles não fazem mais parte. Humor e drama se misturam no dia a dia de Sally (a fantasma), Aidan (o vampiro) e Josh (o lobisomem), enquanto os amigos tentam se adaptar às suas condições, ao mesmo tempo em que querem viver como pessoas “normais”, e ainda devem enfrentar seus inimigos também sobrenaturais. Na terceira temporada da bem sucedida versão britânica, Being Human ganhou esta versão norte-americana, que conta basicamente as mesmas histórias envolvendo os três personagens, no entanto com alguns elementos inéditos.
